Custom Shower Terminology
Framed - Framing all around the glass including top, bottom and sidewalls.
Frameless - Minimal framing. There may be meta framing on the perimeter of the enclosure.
By Pass - Two doors sliding past each other.
Pivot Door - Two pivot hinges, one at the top and bottom.
Hinged Door - Door on two hinges.
Door and Panel - A door is located in line with one or more panels.
Corner Unit - Two sided shower, one panel and single door and panel.
Neo-Angle - Three sided unit with front panel at a 45 degree angle to sides.
Door with Kneewall - Knotched panels on one or both sides of the door.
Door with Transom - Glass panel usually above the door.
